You’ll be surprised to see how easy it is to make paneer tikka at home. If you have tandoor or grill or oven at home, you’ll get the perfect paneer snack with an invigorating smoky aroma and spicy flavours. If you don’t have any of these equipment, you can still make it in on tawa or pan by roasting the skewers laden with marinated paneer cubes on a greased pan.

You just have to first smear paneer in a mixture of yogurt and some Indian spices. Then insert skewers in the masala paneer and put them in tandoor for few minutes. It’s that simple and quick.

Paneer Tikka Recipe:

Ingredients:

250 gm Paneer (cut into cubes)

1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

1 tsp garam masala powder

1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves

1 tsp red chili powder

1/2 cup yoghurt

Salt to taste

Coriander for garnish

Method:

– Marinate the paneer cubes with dried fenugreek leaves, red chilli powder and yogurt. Spread it well so that it soaks the mixture well.

– Insert the skewer into the cubes.

– Add this into the tandoor for 10-15 minutes.

– Take out the paneer cubes onto the plate.

– Garnish with fresh coriander and green chutney on the side.

– Serve hot.
